Houffalize was completely taken over by mountain bikers during the first May weekend. The quaint Ardennes town played host to Roc d'Ardenne, which attracted 4,500 mountain bikers to the beautiful region.

More than 300 took part in the cross-country (XCO) stages, which counted towards Benelux Cup. The remaining 4,112 enjoyed some of the other Roc d’Ardenne challenges.

A diverse menu included a free-for-all UCI marathon, a 55 kilometre event and a handful of shorter races in and around Houffalize or even a family oriented trek.

Foodies could even enjoy a culinary tour, Roc Gourmand. The challenging tracks received universal praise. The Happy Bike Days allowed 1,176 fans to put different bikes to the test. All events took place in a relaxed atmosphere typical of the hospitable region.
